Balto von Boppard is a beautiful 9 month old long haired German Shepherd with a sweet personality full of warmth and love. A gentle, mid-energy boy, Balto thrives on human companionship. He loves nothing more than being surrounded by his humans, getting all the attention and pets. He is wonderful on leash, coming out of his kennel calmly to walk right by your side and matching your pace. He seeks out people for attention along the way. He's also great walking in a pack of dogs, greeting them nicely, and does well mingling and roaming in off-leash playgroups, paying no mind to pushy greeters. He loves the spotlight when receiving affection from staff—even giving everyone a laugh by being playfully vocal when other attention-loving pups tried to steal his thunder, before returning right back to getting cuddles. To top it all off, Balto is gentle with treats, already knows his "sit" command, and passed his initial cat testing.
